Tuesday, August 4th, 2015, we held the 1st motorcycle show in conjunction with the Hubbard, Ohio city and township police event, National Night Out (NNO). During a conversation with Chief Coonce in the late spring, he suggested that Freedom Thirteen could organize a bike show for NNO. No problem! All of us wanted to demonstrate that bikers are goid people, and this was a perfect opportunity.
Our setting was around the Kiwanis Bandstand - it was a perfect setting and the weather was beautiful.
Bikes were voted on by the mayor and trustees; best in show voting, so winners were chosen by whatever struck the judges. The 1st place winner was John S.'s veteran menorial bike:
2nd place went to Chuck H.:
And 3rd place was won by Mike S.:
We had a great time. A large portion of participants met at the Truck World parking lot to ride in as a group. Here's what it looked like traveling south on Main Street!
That is so awesome! We've been asked to do it again next year. Hell yeah we will!
We'd all like to thank the Hubbard police and the community for their support and hard work.
